The ship started out as the Lindberg
'Blue Devil', 1/125 scale. It ended up as
the USS Cushing DD-797. She's wearing a
Measure 31/16d pattern. The hull was cut, the rudder configuration changed, the after
superstructure was scratchbuilt, as were all the 20mm and 40mm, the torpedo tubes and
foremast, the depth charge racks amidships and aft. The railings are brass stanchions with
snake netting. I did my own photoetching for the Mk4 radar on the Mk37 director. The
forward superstructure was 75% scratchbuilt. All in all I'd say it's about 80%
