Aber from Poland has produced two different sets of turned brass barrels for 1:700 scale HMS Hood kits. Which one you get depends upon if the kit turrets have blast bags or don't have them. The first set of photographs show the Aber L-08 set with longer barrels for kits without blast bags on the turrets.

In contrast the next series of photographs depict the Aber L-09 set with shorter barrels for kits that come with blast bags. Also included are a couple of photographs contrasting both sets for comparison of their respective lengths.

Georgetown Hobbies is the distributor of Aber ordnance. The sets are carried by many retail outlets, including AAA Model Hobbies and Pacific Front.
