This is a straight from the box build of the new Alanger Akula Class Submarine.  I did it as a quick build just to see what it was like and also if it were to appear as it would at the start of a patrol. Nice and clean. I put a pair of figures into the conning position and set the whole thing into a seascape. One of the good things about the kit is that the hull is in two halves that are divided horizontally and therefore it is easy to do a surfaced sub display. All the parts went together well. The decals were a bit thick, but I managed to get round them without to much problem.
