I broke from my tradition of dreadnoughts and decided to do the Blue Water Navy (now Yankee Modelworks) CA-30 USS Houston. Why? This is just too good a model not to do. It is a beautiful model. I only hope my feeble attempts are worthy of such a venerable ship and the memory of her gallant crew. I was an absolute delight to build and photograph. I am surprised but I like it as much as any of my dreadnoughts.
