This is a conversion of the Banner 1:350 scale USS Arizona to a circa 1935-1936 USS Pennsylvania. Changes were to replace kit parts with better ones, scratch-built and brass. Changes to add details not in the kit, scratch-built and brass. Changes to reflect difference between the two ships were scratch –built. Changes to backdate the ship from 1941 to 1936, were resin and scratch-built.

The biggest changes were a completely scratch-built forward superstructure and converting White Ensign Models Curtiss SOC-1 aircraft into Vought O3U-3's. All aircraft markings, including all control surfaces, are homemade decals and so is the planked deck.
