Here are some photos of my Combrig 1:700 scale Espana just finished-hot off the workbench. The railings are from Tom's Modelworks, the masts are scratch-built, as are the searchlight reflector lenses. The model is rigged with 0.002" monofilament and was washed all over with a heavily diluted black enamel. Detail washes of watercolor black on the hull and superstructure and various shades of brown on the deck were added. The model was then dry-brushed and finally flat-coated to even it all out.
