This is Combrig's 1:700 scale Zhemchug kit, built in the spring of 2004. It is built out of the box except for opening up the aft compass platform structure. Perhaps I'll open up the solid-cast stacks and ventilators one day. They'd benefit from it. Also used are Tom's Modelworks railings, Gold Medal Models ladders, stretched sprue rigging, and masts, and yards...not a technique I'll be trying again.
