These are  photos of my conversion of the Dragon 350th scale Livermore kit. It depicts the Monssen as she appeared in May 1941,when first completed. Luckily the Livermore kit is very near in configuration to her. I removed all traces of the 20 mm mounts ,and I was able to substitute 0.5" mgs that she had then with some left-overs from a build of Trumpy`s Lexington. The two open 5" mounts were from a now scrapped Essex kit. These aren't perfect, so they may be replaced by some from L`Arsenal. The pennant numbers came from GMM`s USN decal sheet.
