The German 40mm/28 was a late war improvement for anti-aircraft guns. (The caliber is actually 28, not 25 as shown on the labels.) Flyhawk Model has produced a 1:700 scale brass photo-etch set of this ordnance. Flyhawk set FH 700013 provides 22 of these mounts. Each gun is comprised of four different relief-etched parts, gun, shield, base and forward cradle. The gun part folds to also provide gun sights while the shield part also folds to provide gunner's seats. Instructions show the 40mm/28 gun positions on the 1945 fit of the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen.
