With the Dragon and Trumpeter and Aoshima new mold Bismarck & Tirpitz kits, not to mention the new Trumpeter Admiral Hipper and Prinz Eugen kits in 1:700 scale, there certainly is a need for photo-etch railings for all of the new kits. Flyhawk Model set FH 700064 provides World War II German Kriegsmarine Railing in 1:700 scale. The set provides four different patterns of railing, including curving rails, designed for placement on the bow, where it sheers upward. There is also a fifth type of railing with safety netting, which I haven't seen in photographs. There are also additional parts, which further benefit the modeler. Four leadsman platforms are provided, as well as handrail for stacks and superstructure and vertical ladder.
