Giampiero Galeotti of Regia Marina built this Hasegawa IJN battleship Hiei. Although the new tooling models of this class from Hasegawa are far superior in detail from the older kits, Giampiero shows what can be done with the older kits with a little work and the addition of photo-etch, in this case from Toms. Photographs show the additions added during building as well as the final finished model.
