This is Iron Shipwright’s SMS Seydlitz that I finished about six months ago. The kit has been totally rebuilt using large amounts from an ICM Konig and includes photo-etch from Gold Medal Models and White Ensign Models. About the only thing original is the hull and couple of elements from superstructure. Everything else I took off, then sanded the desk smooth and replaced it with Evergreen plastic. The whole project took about eight months. I've now started gathering materiel and references to start planning a scratch-built 1:350 scale SMS Lutzow.
