Attached are photos of a diorama I built for my Brother in Law for Christmas. He served on the USS Coronado in the 70's and invited his sister (my wife) and I to visit in Norfolk. We got to go on board for dinner and a movie. While we were there, 3 Skipjack class subs were along side, so I included those too. This is the 1/700 scale JAG model and photo-etch. The water is made from Acrylic artists gel on top of a double layer of 1/4 inch clear lexan. I usually work in 1/350 scale and this was my first endeavor in 1/700. As soon as my eyesight returns, I'll return to work on my 1/350, CV-6 Enterprise.
