I've been building 1:200 Kriegsmarine ships for a while now and felt like a break. One thing that interested me was the catapult mounted on many ships, so I decided to build one in 1/72 to fit the Heller, Airfix or Revell Arado. Working exclusively in nickel silver and brass, this is what I came up with. The catapult, as modeled, was mounted on the German armed merchantmen - Hilfskreuzers.
