Here are photographs of the Regia Marina destroyer, Legionario, as she appeared in 1944 as a member of the Co-Belligerent Italian Navy. The model is 1:200 scale and was scratch-built by Aldo Petrina from Italy using yard plans that he was able to procure. The hull is wood and the superstructure aluminum. He scratch-built the life boats and railings, and made the radar from soldered metal pieces.
