This is the USS Missouri. It is a 1:220 scale model. It is my first scratch built model and was constructed from wood. I decided not to paint the finished model. It took 12 months to build. Making the 40mm Bofors AA gun was difficult for me and I wasn’t satisfied with the final 40mm Bofors or 20mm Oerlikon guns. I want to make this item once more in either 1:200 or 1:196 scales.
