This is my 1:550 scale model of the British WWI battleship HMS Neptune. Over the years, I have built models of most of the capital ship classes of the Grand Fleet in this scale except Dreadnought and Invincible, both of which I built in 1:450 scale, and Repulse, the Airfix 1:600 scale version. The earlier models did not come out well, the aforementioned models, plus Orion and Centurion, but the remainder are passable. One of these days I will rebuild Orion, but there are so many ships still to be built, particularly since I am also interested in predreadnoughts.
