Norbert Thiel has built the Niko Model 1:700 scale USS Iowa BB-4. The ship is painted in the buff and white peace time livery. For service in the Spanish-American War of 1898, Iowa was painted gray. Iowa was present at the Battle of Santiago Cuba and at the time was the newest USN battleship in service.
