I built the light cruiser Abruzzi straight out of box and I set it with the scratch-built tug Tenace. She is set in 1940, I choose this time frame because she was painted overall light gray, and I think this emphasizes the wonderful lines of this well balanced cruiser, the last along with the Garibaldi of the class.
