Here are photos of my 1/550 scale model of the dreadnought battleship HMS Resolution, ca. 1916. The "R" class battleships, unfortunately, were not considered good candidates for drastic modernization between the wars, so although their appearance may have been improved by WWII, their perceived effectiveness declined and they were taken out of service before the end of WWII. However, in 1916, they were considered the most potent warships in the Grand Fleet.
