Venezuelan modeler Alberto Rada built the USS Wainwright DD 419 using the Classic Warships 1:192 scale USS Sims kit.

He portrayed Wainwright as she appeared during 1942 Atlantic operations. A photo in the book American Destroyers provided the inspiration and guidance in applying the Measure 12 Modified paint scheme.

These large, clear images do justice to Alberto's modeling skills in recreating Wainwright in large scale. They are well worth a look. Good work!
