This is my USS Denver CL 58, a light cruiser of the Cleveland class. The Denver was a member of the first batch of this class with a round bridge. The kit should show the ship as she looks in May 1944 after her overhaul at Mare Island . I have built my kit from the original Cleveland Skywave kit with several conversions for the Denver . Also I have used a new resin hull with some improvements especially at the stern. which is wrong in the original kit from Skywave. First time I have replaced the plastic five inch turrets with some Lion Roar turrets. Also several Gold Medal Models photo-etch parts.
