The kit is Tamiya's 1/350 scale Bismarck built by Dennis Mermaloid, using Gold Medal Model's photo-etch set and a scratch-built basswood deck using over 1,500 blocks of wood to simulate the teak deck. This model took nearly one ½ years to complete and will be entered at the upcoming IPMS Nationals and Tamiya-Con in 2004.
