These are photos of the USS Iowa. It was constructed by modifying the Tamiya 1/350^th scale USS Missouri. I used Evergreen and Plastruct to alter the platforms on the forward fire control tower the mainmast and also to construct the 20mm platform on turret #2.

The blue band on the hull for the measure 22 camouflage scheme was done with Model Master "dark sea blue" the decks with Model Master "panzerschwarzgrau" and the upper-works with Humbrol #127.The detail work was accomplished with the Gold Medal Models photo-etch set. I've been building models since I was 5 years old and have done some commission work on occasion. My current project is a 1/100th scale Bismarck. I can be reached at ktaylor567@hotmail.com.
