This is the Trumpeter Sovremenny class destroyer with the Gold Medal Model's photo-etch set detail. I must have had this kit  half complete for about 2 years now. I 'm not a big fan of modern era I guess. Doesn't help in the overall finesse, as paint gathers dust and dirt, which gets stuck , but a bit of extra weathering helps to conceal this defect. A simple wooden base and brass name plate complete the presentation.
