This superb White Ensign Models resin kit had most of
the parts and photo-etch that I needed. I only added items from Gold Medal
Model's Gold Plus Ultra-Fine Railing, Clipper model's RN 38cm Gun Barrel
/Canvas and few plastic injection accessories from Tamiya's HMS Hood kit, such
as signal lamps, search lights and 45' motor launches. Sides
of the hull were painted by airbrush, deck and everything above was weathered,
washed and dry-brushed. The vertical lines on the funnel surface were drew by
pencil.
